Hi, welcome to Jason's portfolio. He is a fashion designer and photographer in Vancouver, BC. Initially, he picked up photography to document his process in designing and making custom clothes. In doing so, he learned more about the way clothes move and the manipulation of light.

Some of his favorite photographers include Fan Ho and Saul Leiter. The soft and often obscured nature of their photographs is a quality he seeks to imbue into his own photographs. Jason is experienced with studio lighting, though he still prefers to work with natural light whenever he can.
